Dr. Douglas T. Bengson
I grew up in Minot, a graduate of Minot High School and Minot State University. I received my formal dental education at The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, graduating in 1990. I have been passionate about dentistry and have continued my dental education ever since.
I have completed the prestigious Gordon Christensen Fellowship through the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry Fellowship. I am active with Cerec Doctors continuing education, this training allows me to place the highest quality crowns in a single dental visit for our patients. I am also involved in dental education through the highly respected Spear Institute. These educational choices have stimulated my professional growth thus allowing me to provide my patients with leading-edge dentistry of only the highest quality.
I am a member of the American Dental Association, North Dakota Dental Association, Northwest District Dental Society, Minot Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry.
In my time away from the office I enjoy virtually all sports, staying connected to my Alma Maters through the Beaver Booster Club and the Golden Gopher Fund. Attending sporting activities is a great way to stay involved with our community. My wife Patti and I have two daughters, Emily and Sophie, both of whom are students at the University of Minnesota. I stay active by participating in Peloton cycling classes and when the weather permits I take advantage of as many outdoor activities as possible.
