John A. Fishpaw, D.D.S
Dr. Fishpaw graduated from Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1974. After serving in the USAF at Minot AFB, he established his private practice in Minot in 1977.In 1992 he and Dr. Bengson established Dakota Dental Health Center. Dr. Fishpaw has been active in the Academy of General Dentistry, a continuous education driven organization. He has earned Fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry as well as the prestigious Mastership level.
Dr. Fishpaw has also served on the North Dakota State Board of Dental Examiners for 10 years and is in line to serve as president of the 15 state Central Regional Testing Agency which certifies all the dentists and dental hygienists in the region.
Dr. Fishpaw's wife is family physician Dr. Kim Krohn and they have three children, John Jr., Turner and Chase. Dr. Fishpaw is very active with Mouse River players and the Heritage Singers in Minot.
Douglas T. Bengson, D.D.S
Dr. Bengson is a Minot native, graduating from Minot High School, Minot State University and University of Minnesota Dental School in 1990.Dr. Bengson has practiced in Minot since 1990, establishing Dakota Dental Health Center with Dr. Fishpaw in 1992. Dr. Bengson has served as faculty for the dental school serving with the mentor program allowing senior dental students an "outreach" experience in dentistry.
Dr. Bengson is a member of the American Dental Association, Northwest District Dental Society, Minot Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry, achieving "Fellowship of General Dentistry" from the Academy of general Dentistry in 2001. Dr. Bengson is one of 10 dentists in North Dakota to have reached this award. Having completed over 1000 hours of continuing education while in practice, Dr. Bengson continues to take advantage of professional education whenever possible.
Dr. Bengson and his wife Patti have two daughters, Emily and Sophie. When away from the office he enjoys virtually all sports, especially those of his daughters, traveling and spending time at the family lake cabin.
Ronald E. Solberg, D.D.S
Dr. Solberg attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry from 1972 to 1976 graduation in the top ten percent of his class.After graduation, Dr. Solberg completed his General Dentistry Residency with the U.S. Public Health Service in San Francisco from 1976 to 1977.
Dr. Solberg served on active duty with the Public Health Service and United States Air Force for seven years, finishing 20 years through the Air Force Reserves.
In 1993, Dr. Solberg joined Dakota Dental Health Center, continuing his commitment to excellence in dentistry.
Dr. Solberg and his wife, Joyce, have two grown children, Matthew and Coiya and one granddaughter, McKenzie, all living in Phoenix. Dr. Solberg enjoys golfing, fishing, traveling, remodeling, and visiting family in Minnesota and Arizona.
